We believe in empowering people to make good decisions. Our intention is to teach you how to think from a broader systems perspective, so that you walk away empowered to implement sustainable initiatives no matter what circumstances you face. Our approach is encouraging, fun and complimentary to broader sustainability programs and resources.

This is a great introduction course that covers some "obvious" messages about sustainability, but relates it directly to our industry of film and television. This course is being taken a class of 19 film students at Belmont University in order to engage the young and new minds joining the film industry and should continually be a part of the education of filmmaking since it is very quickly becoming a necessary aspect of the industry.

We also lay out a comprehensive resource list of the highest quality materials and how/when to use them, so you don’t need to waste time wading through the overwhelming volume of online sustainability materials.
Can I take this course if I work in a country other than the USA?
Yes! We intentionally focused on concepts that are applicable in a production context in any jurisdiction. There will be differences in the way these concepts are applied given your local context, but after taking this course you will be informed and can contribute to the sustainability of your production that much faster and easier.
